Movie Review: A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD

A Good Day to Die Hard is the fifth installment in the Die Hard film series. Bruce Willis reprises the lead role of John McClane, who travels to Russia to help his estranged son, Jack (Jai Courtney), out of prison, but is soon caught in the crossfire of a terrorist plot.

The movie was a boxoffice hit despite negative reviews from most critics. This 1hour 30 minutes film lacks a solid story and more characters. Blowing cars and loud gun-firing action scenes occupies most of the film's time. The long chasing car scene seems a bit unwanted. It could have been made short. And hand fights could have made the film interesting instead of more gun-fights. There was nothing new in action scenes. It seems like the filmmakers just made this movie to earn profits by doing few, and then shut down the Die Hard series after all.

In all, the movie isn't just as interesting as it's trailer:

There is no possible chances of seeing next Die Hard flick in future after this. But who knows?

Ratings: 4/10.
